Hallo,

eine Bekannte bat mich ihre Joomla Installation zu aktualisieren. Soweit ich weis ist Joomla 1.5 installiert.
Nun wollte ich in der Datenbank das Admin Passwort zurücksetzen, da sie das Admin Passwort nicht mehr kennt. Wenn ich aber im Parallels Confixx auf die Datenbank oder auf "myphp Admin" klicke, bekomme ich folgende Fehlermeldung:

#2000 - mysqlnd cannot connect to MySQL 4.1+ using the old insecure authentication. Please use an administration tool to reset your password with the command SET PASSWORD = PASSWORD('your_existing_password'). This will store a new, and more secure, hash value in mysql.user. If this user is used in other scripts executed by PHP 5.2 or earlier you might need to remove the old-passwords flag from your my.cnf file

Was kann ich hier tun, damit ich wieder auf die Datenbank Zugriff habe?

Evtl. ist das Kennwort zu einfach, die neue SQL-Version akzeptiert das nicht mehr. Um welche Domain bzw. DB geht es denn genau? Bitte die Info per PM an mich, nicht im Forum posten!
